Hyunsub Kum is a research scholar of The Levy Economics Institute and working on the Levy Institute Measure of Economic Well-Being (LIMEW) within the distribution of income and wealth program. His research interests include the measurement of inequality, inequality and economic growth, the distributional effects of public spending, including cross-country comparisons, statistical matching over micro data and micro simulation. He recently published articles with Senior Scholar James K. Galbraith in CESifo Economic Studies and Review of Income and Wealth. Kum received a Ph.D. in public policy from the University of Texas at Austin; an M.P.P. from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor; and an M.P.A. and B.A. from Seoul National University, Korea.
