Bridget J. Crawford is an Associate Professor at Pace University School of Law. She teaches courses in Federal Income Taxation, Estate and Gift Taxation, and Feminist Legal Theory. Prior to joining the Pace faculty, Professor Crawford practiced law for more than six years at Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP in New York. Her practice was concerned with income, estate, and gift tax planning for individuals, as well as tax and other advice to closely-held corporations and exempt organizations. Professor Crawford is a former Lecturer in Law at the University of Pennsylvania Law School. Her publications include articles on the income taxation of trusts, tax aspects of asset protection, women in legal education and a feminist critique of pornography. She is the author of the BNA Tax Management Portfolio Estate Planning for Authors and Artists. Her present scholarship focuses on issues of gender and tax policy.
