Kimberly Fisher is the Secretary-Treasurer of the International Association for Time Use Research and a member of the Time Use Team at the Institute for Social and Economic Research at the University of Essex in the United Kingdom. Her research activities have included working on the teams compiling the Multinational Time Use Study and the American Historical Time Use Studies. Dr. Fisher also works with other cross-national data harmonisation projects as well as working with longitudinal data sets. Her research specialities include survey methodology, analysis of care, and profiling of daily activities among people of different states of health. Dr. Fisher holds a PhD in Sociology of Gender from the University of Essex which was funded by a Marshall Scholarship. Dr. Fisher also has worked in the School of Justice Studies at Arizona State University in the USA and the Social Policy Research Centre at the University of New South Wales in Australia.
