Martha Melesse is a senior program officer with IDRC’s
Globalization, Growth, and Poverty (GGP) program based in Ottawa,
Canada. Since joining the IDRC in 1993, she has worked in various
programs covering issues of poverty, trade policy, social policy,
education, and information and communication. Melesse’s areas
of interest include service delivery and the management of public
goods, poverty analysis and monitoring, public sector financing,
the research-policy nexus, and evaluation. She is a Ph.D. candidate
in public policy at Carleton University, Ottawa, and has a graduate
diploma in international development and cooperation from the University
of Ottawa and a master’s degree in business administration
from the United States International University. |
