Lydia Santova Shouleva is an economist and member of Parliament of the 40th National Assembly of the Republic of Bulgaria, where she serves on the Economic Policy Committee and the Budget and Finance Committee. She is a Bulgarian Observer in the European Parliament. Shouleva was Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy from 2003 to 2005, and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Labor and Social Policy from 2001 to 2003.
