Roxana Guerra Gallegos is a licensed economist, with postgraduate studies in Belgium at the Université Catholique De Louvain -Belgium, several courses in Gender mainstreaming in EC development cooperation. She has fifteen years experience as Official Projects and Project Manager, gender focal person, Director of Economic Development and Tourist Facilities, senior consultant and adviser in Peru. Roxana is a Freelance writer for daily newspapers and research in macroeconomics, reform and modernization of the state. Her primary employment is in the Delegation of the European Commission in Perou. She belongs to a global network of Gender Focal Persons who promote gender equality and women’s empowerment in the EC Development Cooperation Worldwide. She enjoys visiting the projects she manages around Perou and talk with the beneficiaries, in particular women. Last but not least, she is from Cusco one of the most historical places of Perou.
