James Heintz is Associate Research Professor and Associate Director at the Political Economy Research Institute of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He has written on a wide range of economic policy issues, including job creation, global labor standards, egalitarian macroeconomic strategies, and public investment. He has collaborated and worked as a consultant with numerous international agencies, including the UNDP, ILO, UNIFEM, UNRISD, DFID, and UNECA.
