Ozge Izdes is a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at the University of Utah. Her research fields are macroeconomics and gender, labor economics, economic development and poverty. She has been involved in the International Group on Gender, Macroeconomics and International Economics (GEM-IWG) since 2006, and has worked as a research assistant in the organization of the program launched by GEM-IWG. She earned her B.S. in Istanbul University and she studied for her M.Sc. degree in Istanbul and Bogazici Universities. Ozge has teaching experience in Labor Economics, Macroeconomics and Development Economics in University of Utah and in Istanbul University where she has worked as a research assistant and as an instructor.
