Feridoon Koohi-Kamali is a Levy Institute research associate and editor of the Levy Institute’s Report and other publications. He has taught economics at Oxford University, and worked as an economic and financial journalist for a number of years. His broad research field is household consumption and analysis of household budgets in developing economies, including topics such as welfare, poverty, and demographics; gender bias and expenditure patterns; price behaviors in tight food markets; and consumption in war economies. Koohi-Kamali holds an MSc. (Econ.) in economics from London University and a D.Phil in economics from Oxford University.
