Jackie Morse is currently working on a PhD in Economics at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.  She is also pursuing a graduate certificate in Advanced Feminist Studies. In her dissertation research she intends to explore the ways women are being effected by the increasing financialization of the US economy, particularly in their role as borrowers.  She is generally interested in the way that women interact with formal and informal financial services in various contexts.
