Jianhua Tang, associate professor, Department of Finance, College of Economics and Management, China Agricultural University, Beijing. She got her Ph.D in Tokyo University, Japan, B.A. and M.A in Renmin University of China, Beijing. Her research field is mainly focused on development finance (rural household financial behavior, microfinance, informal finance) and poverty alleviation. From 2004, she began to touch the gender issues. She attended to three intensive courses on Gender in Beijing University (2004), Utah University (2006), and Bard College (2009). She was Fulbright Research Scholar (2008-09), and engaged in the gender research in the Institution on Women and Gender, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Her main interests are on women employment structure and gender issues in transition economy. Her teaching experience included: International Economics (finance), Development Finance, Rural Finance, Agricultural Economics, Resources Economics, Management, Marketing, Accounting.
