President Pavlina R. Tcherneva Delivers Keynote at CIRIEC International and Bordeaux GSEF 2025 Conferences
Institute President Pavlina R. Tcherneva delivered the joint keynote address at the CIRIEC International and Bordeaux GSEF 2025 conferences, bringing together leading voices from across the global social and solidarity economy (SSE).
The conferences highlighted the expanding international coalition advancing inclusive and equitable economic models. In her remarks, Dr. Tcherneva emphasized the importance of the job guarantee as a cornerstone of a just and sustainable economic framework, citing successful implementations such as France’s Territoires zéro chômeur de longue durée, Argentina’s Plan Jefes, and India’s Rural Employment Guarantee Act.
She commended the work of local and international leaders—including Timothée Duverger, who organized the event, and host and Bordeaux Mayor Pierre Hurmic—for their continued commitment to scaling policies that link solidarity, employment, and economic resilience. The event demonstrates the Levy Institute’s commitment in engaging global strategies to design and implement full employment and social inclusion.
Official remarks will be released soon.
